Maho Nabé Benefits

JAPANESE TRADITION MEETS CONTEMPORARY COOKING

With the Maho Nabé – Japanese for “magic pot” – and its vacuum double-wall technology, Tiger has reinvented the multi-millennial tradition for the Maho Nabé pleasure of food lovers everywhere.

When placed at the center of the table, the Nabe immerses guests into an intimate and hearty dining experience.

ALAN PASSARD AND THE Maho Nabé

Tiger asked three-star Michelin chef Alain Passard to try out the very first Maho Nabé prototype. When the Chef tested this “magic pot”, the news coming from the Arpège’s kitchen brought joy to those who have been spending the past years working on the product’s conception and fine-tuning in Osaka: “With the Maho Nabé, I can make a whole new ratatouille!”

ENERGY SAVING AND LONG-LASTING WARMTH

Maho Nabé locks the heat inside with its vacuum double-walled structure, creating a high heat insulation effect.

It also maintains a high temperature long after boiling and removal from the heat source; the temperature remains at 95℃ for 20 minutes.

Thanks to its superior heating speed and efficiency Maho Nabé saves energy for cooking.

FLAVOUR ENHANCEMENT

Since the Maho Nabé maintains a high temperature even after removal from the heat source, it can be used for residual cooking, which preserves nutrients that are easily lost if the food is overcooked.

Equipped with a heat-locking insulation lid, Maho Nabé can also be used for waterless cooking.
